Liebe Literaturszene,
der nächste NFLB-Stammtisch findet am 5. Juni 2019 um 19:00 Uhr in der Lettrétage, Mehringdamm 61, 10961 Berlin, statt. Dann machen wir erstmal Sommerpause!
Wir würden uns freuen, wenn ihr vorbeischaut, den NFLB und seine Mitglieder kennenlernt und mit uns ins Gespräch kommt. Wie ihr wisst, sind alle eure Fragen und Anliegen rund um die Literatur in unserer Stadt erwünscht. Der Stammtisch bietet Raum für ein zwangloses Beisammensein und Gesprächsthemen aller Art.
Dieses Mal haben wir Simone O’Donovan als Special Guest. Sie ist Managing Editor der Berliner englischsprachigen Literaturzeitschrift SAND (gegr. 2009). Das Heft wird von einem Team von aktuell 18 Freiwilligen aus 8 Ländern zweimal jährlich herausgegeben. Es präsentiert Lyrik, bildende Kunst, Belletristik und Essays aus aller Welt – mit einem besonderen Schwerpunkt auf unterrepräsentierten Perspektiven.

Dear members of the literary scene and
the Network for the Independent Literary Scene in Berlin (NFLB),
The next NFLB monthly meetup (Stammtisch) will take place on 5 June 2019 at 7 pm at Lettrétage, which is at Mehringdamm 61, 10961 Berlin (walk through to the gate and enter at the back of the first courtyard).
We would love it if you stopped by. These meetups are a great way to get to know the NFLB and its members and chat with us. As you probably know, we welcome any and all questions and concerns you might have about literature in our city. The meetups are casual get-togethers with space for conversation on any topic. (Most of those conversations, including the special guest presentation, are generally in German, but if you personally RSVP and mention that you would like to come but are more comfortable speaking English, we will make sure one of our English-speaking members is there this month and introduces themselves. Besides, you are very likely to meet more local literary people who speak English or many other languages, so don’t be shy. The NFLB specifically advocates for Berlin literature in all languages.)
This time we have Simone O’Donovan as special guest. She is Managing Editor of the Berlin-based English-language literary journal SAND founded in 2009. The journal is published by a team of 18 volunteers from 8 countries and features poetry, visual art, fiction, and nonfiction from around the world with a particular focus on a underrepresented perspectives.

Estimada escena literaria,
el próximo encuentro (Stammtisch) del NFLB será el miércoles 5 de junio de 2019 a las 19:00 horas en la Lettrétage, Mehringdamm 61, 10961 Berlín. Después haremos una pausa de verano.
Nos alegraríamos si se desen la vuelta para conocer al NFLB y a sus miebros y para conversar e intercambiar ideas. Como saben, en el NFLB son bienvenidas todas las preguntas y propuestas en torno a la literatura en nuestra ciudad. El encuentro informal es un marco ideal para conversar sobre muchos temas.
Esta vez tendremos a Simone O’Donovan como invitada especial. Ella es Managing Editor de la revista literaria berlinesa anlgófona SAND (fundada en 2009). La revista está siendo editada actualmente por 18 voluntarixs de 8 diferentes países y sale dos veces al año. Presenta poesía, artes vistuales, prosa y ensayo de todo el mundo y con el enfoque especial en perspectivas representadas en minoría.

la prochaine réunion du NFLB aura lieu le 5 juin 2019 à 19hrs à la « Lettrétage », Mehringdamm 61, 10961 Berlin.
Nous serons ravis de vous présenter le NFLB ainsi que ses membres et discuter avec vous. Toutes vos questions et demandes à propos de la littérature dans notre ville seront les bienvenues. La réunion, c’est l’occasion de passer un moment ensemble et d’échanger sur des sujets de tous genres.
